BELGRADE, Serbia - With devastating floods hitting Bosnia and Serbia, WTA rising star Jovana Jaksic stepped up on the weekend, organizing a collection point at the Serbian Tennis Federation in Belgrade, spending Sunday collecting food, water and clothes for those affected by the disaster.
“I really wanted to do something to help my country after this terrible disaster,” Jaksic said. “There are so many people in need of basic supplies so it was really important to me that I tried to do something for them. We had so many people come with donations, too. It was a long but very special day.”
